The Prostate Cancer Charity Ben Nevis Challenge 22 - 24 May 2009
On Saturday 23 May 2009 15 participants successfully reached the summit of Ben Nevis raising valuable funds on behalf of The Prostate Cancer Charity.
When the group set off the weather was overcast and dry however as the day progressed the weather deteriorated with some heavy rain showers. Although it is now nearing the end of May there is still a considerable amount of snow on the upper parts of the Ben which proved challenging for the participants who achieved their goal in a little over 7 hours.
Well done to everyone who took part and we hope to see you on another challenge again in the future.
